Photoshoot Booking Terms & Policy

1. Booking Notice:

  • Clients should book a photoshoot with at least 1 week's notice. However, please note that availability may vary.

  • To ensure complete availability and to allow for adequate preparation, clients are encouraged to book their photoshoot 2-4 weeks before the desired date. This advance notice helps to accommodate scheduling preferences and ensure a smooth planning process.

2. Booking Process:

  • Clients must submit a booking request through their preferred method of communication. Inquiries can be made via email at studio@ruthtau.com or through direct message on Instagram @ruthtau007g.

  • Upon confirmation of the booking request, clients will receive a confirmation email detailing the date, time, location, and other relevant information for the shoot.

3. Deposit Requirement:

  • A deposit of 40% of the total fee is required to secure the booking.

  • The deposit amount will be communicated to the client upon confirmation of the booking request.

  • The remaining balance of the total fee is due on the day of the shoot.

4. Refund Policy:

  • Refundable deposit fully refunded if cancellation is made 48 hours prior to the shoot.

  • Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled shoot.

  • Latecomers (more than 20 minutes late) will be considered as cancellations and will not be eligible for a refund.

5. Pricing and Fees:

  • The pricing for each photography session may vary depending on factors such as the duration of the shoot, location, and additional services requested by the client.

  • The total fee includes Travelling costs: Expenses related to transportation to and from the shoot location, including fuel, parking fees, and any other travel-related expenses.

  • Gear/Equipment costs: Costs associated with the use of professional photography equipment, such as cameras, lenses, lighting, and accessories. Studio booking costs: If applicable, fees for booking a studio or location for the photoshoot.

  • Labour costs: Compensation for the time and expertise of the photographer, including pre-shoot planning, the photoshoot itself, and post-production editing.

  • Clients will receive a detailed breakdown of the total fee upon confirmation of the booking request.

6. Inclusivity:

  • Ruth Tau Photography is committed to inclusivity and diversity. There is no discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, ability, or any other characteristic.

  • Ruth Tau Photography is LGBTQ2SIA friendly and trans-inclusive. All clients are respected and embraced for who they are, and their identity is fundamental.

7. Copyright and Usage:

  • Ruth Tau retains the copyright to all photographs taken during the session.

  • Clients are granted personal usage rights to the photographs for non-commercial purposes only. This includes personal social media use, printing for personal use, etc.

  • Commercial use of the photographs (e.g., for advertising, promotion, or resale) is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from Ruth Tau.

  • Clients are encouraged to tag @ruthtau007g when sharing the photographs on social media platforms. This gesture of appreciation helps to showcase the photographer's work and is greatly appreciated.

8. Delivery of Photographs:

  • Clients will have access to an online gallery, the availability of which may vary depending on the package selected

  • Within the online gallery, clients can select their preferred final edits from the photoshoot.

  • The delivery time for all selected edits will be within 7-10 days from the date of selection.

*Please note that while every effort is made to provide a comprehensive selection of high-quality images, Ruth Tau holds all rights to the photographs. Deliverables may not include every shot taken during the photoshoot.

9. Conduct and Behavior:

  • Clients are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and professionally during the shoot.

  • Ruth Tau reserves the right to terminate the shoot if clients engage in disruptive or disrespectful behaviour.

  • Any damages to equipment or property caused by the client during the shoot will be the responsibility of the client to repair or replace.

10. Liability:

  • Ruth Tau is not liable for any injuries or accidents that occur during the shoot.

  • Clients are responsible for their safety and the safety of any individuals present during the shoot.

11. Agreement Acceptance:

By booking a photography session with Ruth Tau, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms, booking, and policies.
